Applied sciences are the mother of research and innovation in technology. So a formal education of concepts and applications of various primary applied sciences is very important for an engineer of any field. Applied sciences like applied physics, applied mathematics and applied chemistry form the basic backbone for innovation in various technology areas. All technical innovation starts from the application of a concept of applied science in a technical field and work condition.
UIET, KUK’s Applied science department is serving the goal of providing fundamental and advanced conceptual education in various areas related to applied sciences like Applied Physics, Solid State Physics, Nuclear Physics, Optics, Calculus, Computational Techniques, Engineering Chemistry to all the students of UIET.
The department has two laboratories for Applied Physics, Two for Applied Chemistry and one lab for Computational Techniques. |
